So you buy graphic cards as a hobby without having fun? So if your hobby is computer games and you are still unhappy about it, you should consider changing your hobby.

Lol

Who said it was my personnal computer? I'm not alone in my house... I'm not playing games, sorry ... it's not that my hobby

In my house there are two laptops, two desktops and a home server on linux for four users, each people has their own utilisation...

I'm happy for you if you are happy with games, so can we stop here please? You're happy with your own utilisation, I am happy with my own utilisation, so all of us are happy. What else? :)

This is my last post

Peace

15 minutes? Is it a joke?

My 4850 overclocked work on a E5300 (dualcore) and 6 Wu per core do 12 wu in cache !

12 wu in cache does mean a maximum of 6 min of work ! What about the other nine ones?
And what about my 3850 on my celeron single core?

Everybody don't have a big quadcore or Core i7

I don't buy graphics cards for fun !

Why doesn't Travis increase the length again? by five or ten for exemple? This won't be disturbing for CPUs

The CPU load average is about 2 - 6% on a dualcore, it's very nice and the application is stable. I don't see any difference of performance with the other versions of 0.19

In fact my GPU is an gainward HD4850 "golden sample" oced to 750mhz and yes my memory is underclocked (1100mhz to 350mhz) to kill some watts :) I won 16w and I didn't see any difference :)

A lot of wu are granted to 0 because they are invalid ...

But how to know that if they are purged instantly??

It's not instantly

I need to force the update several times to get some work, if I don't do this, my 4850 is idling :(

What's the problem? Can you make something please as rising the number of maximum Wu per CPU at a time? On my DualCore 12/CPU is too short, this make a maximum cache of 6 minutes with my 4850 (24 Wu 10 / 15sec each) :(

Thanks to you and community for optimized and GPU apps :)

Hi Travis

I've a request for you

I've a friend who has a bi quadcore intel, it is clock at 8 * 3.8ghz and it does 8 wu every 137 secondes !
http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/show_host_detail.php?hostid=13209

So the maximum of wu calculated by this rocket is about (630/core) 5000 Wu, the actuel limite is 4000 (500/core)
His computer is idle for 5 hours !

Can you increase the daily quota please? 700 would be fine

Thank you very much for him :)
