Posted 20 Oct 2022 by Kiska Post: Thanks Tom, really appreciate the update info. Is the memory the type that we can help you with or is it "special" and only something we can contribute money for you to buy or is it even worth it, since you are talking about migrating to a new server anyway? It certainly will be nice when everything is updated and running smoothly again. Hope you're finding these graphs useful :D btw sorry for the 1 request per minute to the server_status page |

Posted 19 Oct 2022 by Kiska Post: Is it possible to track 2 items on a graph ..would be interesting to see Nbody average run time and total waiting for validation on the same graph. My own, probably misguided view is things have not been the same since we got these very long Nbody Simulation WU’s. You'll need to add this query: Then add this override: Then you'll get this graph: |

Validation inconclusive
(Message 73065)
Posted 21 Apr 2022 by Kiska Post: I read the Adaptive Replication server documentation link from Kiska above and, I may be missing something, but it seems like Adaptive Replication is on for Separation but off for N-Body. Almost all of my Separation (GPU) tasks get validated without a second task but N-Body ones need a second one. Going to slightly dispute that. Going by documentation, tasks are set for minimum quorum of 1. So using that logic, separation(going off my task list) are not using adaptive replication as seen in these examples: https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/workunit.php?wuid=419779533 vs https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/workunit.php?wuid=419779593 Whereas nbody is using adaptive replication as evidenced here: https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/workunit.php?wuid=425993147 and inconclusive WU https://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/workunit.php?wuid=414659426 Notice how the initial replication number changes when a result is marked inconclusive? |
