Is there any way to get work for my R9 290X from this project? Id like to do work at least while the current team challenge is going on here.

Also, are there plans on adding support for an Intel GPU (yeah, I know, it wouldn't be fast, but I would think it wouldn't be unlike running a normal CPU app in terms of speed)

make sure you have MW selected in your account manager if you are using one (like BOINCSTATS). if you attach locally, and the account manager doesnt have MW on its list of projects for that host, it will detach it.

i uped the power to +20% and the times reduced by about 1/3rd... from 2 and 3 min to 1:12 and 1:50 for each type of WU. I will overclock it later and see what it can do. you can see info on the powerTune here: http://www.anandtech.com/show/4061/amds-radeon-hd-6970-radeon-hd-6950/7

i turned off RRI and now it seems to be working fine (getting work for both cards as its asking for more than one WU at a time, but asking less often)

humm, i seem to have come acorss an issue now, the server is only sending me ATI work, even though i have it set to both ATI and nvidia, so my geforce 295 is sitting idle... i upgraded boinc to 6.12.8 and its still doing the same.

according to ATI's (err AMD's) site, the 8.12 does support the 48xx for xp 32bit, so it doesn't seem to be an issue there, but I do not know if updating them will cause a problem with the new ATI app or not.

hopefully someone can provide an answer :)

.....as BOINC itself will detect your ATI card and download the ATI app correctly now.

BOINC DOES NOT detect my ATI card.

I am running 6.10.4__ my card is a XFX brand Radeon HD 4850.

I also tried 6.10.0 and 6.10.1 and, none of them detect my card.

Am I the only one with this problem ?

I see you have windows XP 32bit, but for more info:
a) what card do you have
b) what driver are you using?

information like this is what the BOINC devs are after.
