Still the same problem with and without the app_info.xml as well as multiple resets and detaches. Also rebooted the system as well. Rather disappointing that this happens!

Still getting errors under Linux and AMD. Is there a new AMD driver version needed?

I had the same error, I changed my app_info and now it works fine, maybe it will help :

Thanks for providing it.

Never needed one of these prior to this big event.

While I really want to avoid it, it will have to wait so I can restart the client. That is unless there is a remote way to restart it with the GPU recognized.

I'm also seeing an issue on Linux with the GPU applications getting permission denied when trying to set the process priority, even though it works fine outside of the manager.

I'll try to get everything that's broken fixed by tomorrow...

I am getting this message for all my Linux AMD WUs (not Windows) so I have stopped requesting work on my Linux host.

I just tried again and got the same messages.

Same issue here!
Do we have to reset or detach and lose the completed wus to get this to work?

Great that there is an Linux ATI app but I am getting quite a few 'Completed, validation inconclusive' results for the v0.62 app under Linux. Some WUs have 2 or 3 other ATI hosts with the same problem and some hosts are under Windows.

de_separation_13_3s_fix20_1_585272_1302651144 has 3 computing errors, my inconclusive and waiting on a CPU host

PS I noticed dnetc not working a week or so back, but don't recall if it was before or after my driver update. It was only a backup project though, so I didn't try and do any troubleshooting at the time.

There seems to be some serious issue with dnetc as per this boincstats thread on it.

I basically agree that the whole comparison is flawed because someone decides that my I7 has to be the same as some 386 way back when (still ignores the 3 other cores and 4 hyperthreads). If you are going to do that then you have to counter the increased performance due mainly to CPU changes but also code or compiler changes. Personally I think GPU credits should be counted as a different from CPU partly do with to the technology but also the projects that use them.

My goals are more within a project than across them. I choose projects I am interested or in the case of GPU's something that can use it. I would do more GPUGRID but I really not appreciate the long run times with short deadlines.

Boincstats has it cup points but it is also flawed especially compared to projects that do not have continuous work. Also you have to allow those computers that are not working 24/7.

I have a few of these as well on my GTX295 starting from the initial download. My suspicion is either a race condition or failure to correctly download everything. At least these crashed very quickly.
