Ah, i can't wait til more projects get decent ATI apps out. SETI doesn't count, that app is a bloody joke.

PrimeGrid has a working cuda app for linux, not quite boinc ready tho. And I think someone has started work on an ATI app too. Need to send over the ATI Guru :)

20 in total...or 20 per cpu? Because it should be 20 per cpu, i think we have it capped out at 50 total right now. Which is easily changeable.

From Soduko Forums in a post from POV:

To change max_wus_in_progress to apply per processor and not per host, you need to edit just one line. In boinc/sched/sched_send.C, line 729 (and 733, although that's just logging) change:
config.max_wus_in_progress
to
config.max_wus_in_progress*host.p_ncpus

then go back to 'boinc' and run 'make' to recompile. Run tools/upgrade as usual, or manually copy the new cgi to the PROJECTROOT/cgi-bin/ directory.

If these WUs are time sensitive, then why do they have a 5 day deadline? The server has been out of work for nearly 24 hours now, and there are still over 5000 WUs out in the wind. Seems to me that if new work generation depends on the old results, the deadline should be shortened. Maybe try 12 hours and see how that goes, at least if the WU ends up on a duffer, it would time out and possibly get sent to a faster, more reliable host.
