As you can see there is a huge speed difference between the windows and the linux application: 4. Intel Q6600 @2.40Ghz 315 secs (linux 8.04) 7. Intel Q6600 @2.40Ghz 500 secs (win xp) (http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=297&nowrap=true#3520) And also the optimized applications for OSX give a huge speed increase: Before: 11:33 by WU After : 4:49 by WU (http://calbe.dw70.de/mb/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=53) So it would be great to have a optimized win app...
