Just looked at my settings trying to find an opt out for the multithreaded wu's. couldn't find it. Where is it?

I just looked at te type of units you have selected under Your Account, Milky Wy @home preferences this is the kind of unit you are running:
MilkyWay@Home N-Body Simulation v1.42 (mt)

The solution is too uncheck that kind of unit and then you won't get them anymore. So in your case uncheck the 'N-body' units.

Linux Containers in WSL. Once you figure it out you can dedicate how many threads (virtual CPUs) each container can use and have each container focus on a single project. You can ever pin containers to specific vCPU's so they always run their workloads on a set of cores.

In the mean time the WU generation is still happening. As I write this there are 47,893 unsent WUs and more are being added every day.
3) Message boards : Number crunching : Users/Computers that do not return WU's should not be given more than they return. (Message 77244)

In my pending tasks list I see a lot of users/computers that seem to return less than 10% of the WU's they download. A few return less than 1 in 1000. Why are there no filters in place to limit how many they download if they are habitually not returning them? It should be easy enough to look and say, "This computer asks for N amount of WU's all the time, P percentage of WU's they are sent are not returned, therefore only send them N -P amount of WU's.

So I read about users abandoning MW@H because of the recent problems and I thought "That's not cool. I'll have to stop working on Einstein tasks and go help out." Over the past few day I have seen the number unsent tasks grow as and the number of users dwindle. As of right now there are 8 active users in the last 24 hours. The number of tasks in progress has remained steady at around 44,000. I can't see the internal numbers, just what's on the page so I will try not to read too much into the numbers but I think the bottom has to be near with only 8 active uses on the project.
