Dave anderson is the DA that all BOINCers complain about.

Wow __ are you certain it is Legal or even allowed to post photos of
‘Boincifex Maximus’ ?__ (DA).

Isn’t that ‘Tom Cruise’ just to his Right?
They are even being endorsed by big celebrities !
Amazing !

BTW : I hereby declare that ‘Jupiter’ is not a planet.

My proclamation of course carries about as much weight

as these 4 percent idiots from the IAU regarding Pluto.

Actually the problem is Apollo systems are old 60's technology ......

Thanks for that Space.com link. Very interesting !

I still say that, if they can produce the microfilm and,

we get the German’s to create a clone of Wernher von Braun.

Remember ‘The Boy’s from Brazil ?

We will be able to recreate the mighty Saturn V !

Maybe You could catch It with a Saturn V ........

I read somewhere that they could not even build a Saturn V today.
Something about the blueprints for it being locked away in an ancient computer
format that they can no longer access.

I dont know what exactly NVIDIA did, to get into boinc before facebook .......

It’s quite simple. They placed rather large amounts of cash into certain people’s pockets.

This is a tried and true method to ‘win friends’ and influence things into the direction you would like them to go.

Just ask any member of the United States ( Bought and paid for ) congress. They will attest to the fact that this method works !
IE: Rep. Jefferson with 10K in his freezer.

Therefore here is what I plan on trying:
1st: I'll modify boinc client, to allow more instances running, and compile it.
2nd: I'll divide projects by resources

Suggestions, comments?

BR,

I’d say, go for it. We’ll see if it works.

I thought Crunch3R was working on it.

Never mind__ I think I found out why. __Normally
I have a Weather Radar program running called Storm Predator.
__When I loaded it back up__ it climbed back up 5 degrees.

I didn’t realize that weather radar program
needed that much of the GPU.__ I think I’ll leave it off.

Howdy all,
Something odd here __ with this latest batch of work units,
my 4850 GPU is running about 5
degrees Celsius “ Cooler “ than normal.
Also, CPU usage seems to be lower.
Are these work units less computationally
intensive ?

Anyone else notice this ? __ or, do I have something going
haywire with my system?

Using a CPU is largely energy waste compared to a GPU so I stopped looking to the CPU application.

Hi CP,

That is something I have been wondering about. I wonder if that energy waste is occurring (or reversed) on other projects plus
Milky Way when running Cuda.

Over on Einstein @ Home they have only managed to attain a
1.5 x ( geforce ) to 3.5 x ( Tesla ) speedup compared to the
CPU app. when testing their beta Cuda app.

Some Nvidia cards burn up a lot of power so, for that minor speed advantage, you may end up wasting power running Cuda.

Gipsel got it fixed with version 0.19f

I will make a link out of it.
Version 0.19f of the ATI GPU application
is ready for download. Besides the fix for the three stream WUs it reports now the GPU time as WU time.

It was a really absurd bug, a missing line break in the GPU assembly.

THANK YOU ! Cluster Physik, you are doing a Great job with the ATI Apps !

I wish my other projects like Einstein would implement ATI instead of this
focus on Cuda only nonsense.
