Posted 30 Nov 2008 by alijay Post: When you increse the length of the wu please ensure that the check-point error that has been showing up is fixed. With the shorter wu's it is not a problem with longer wu's and particularly on a slower machine if an error occurs because of a fault in the check-pointing a cruncher loses the credits for an hours work it is annoying. |

Agreed after all the lad came in on Thanksgiving day to try and keep the project going. He needs to sleep and eat sometime even if computers don't. |

Posted 19 Jun 2008 by alijay Post:
credit should have been awarded for all the WUs that actually were sent back to the server. i waited for the validator/assimilator to clear all those out before i removed everything from the database -- so the only credit that should have been lost were for WUs that were completed but not yet reported to the server.
Sorry Travis I had 32 pending and only 3 of those validated I stopped crunching anymore at about 00:30 UTC so all the ones I lost had been reported to the server before that time Still all the ones I've done today are validating nicely |

Running 64bit Linux btw. Any ideas? Got one then nothing All the work done yesterday cancelled with no credits what a farce |
