And they're both running Win 7 with latest patches and the same catalyst (15.7.1).

Yes this is on Win 7 and across several different machines. I will check to see if some kind of patch update got applied on Saturday night but it's very strange because I didn't change anything manually. Anyone else experienced this on Win 7??

Before today, I saw modified fit 1.36 WUs taking very little CPU usage to initiate and close down eg my i7-920 could start 4 simultaneously on about 20% usage lasting about 5 secs. From today onwards, the same number of WUs is taking about 95% CPU usage over about 30 secs! No other (material) processes are running. I haven't changed anything in the set up - it has been running continuously over the last 24 hours. Any ideas why this has happened and how to reverse it?? FWIW, the WUs are running on a HD5970. Thanks
