3rd.in - optimized apps
(Message 30445)
Posted 10 Sep 2009 by Senilix Post: If I have the optimised app and app_info file from zslip will that stop me getting the new CUDA wu that are out for NVIDEA GPU's. Doesn't work for me. After shutting down the BOINC client and copying the optimized app and the app_info file, BOINC discarded all of my CUDA wus: 10.09.2009 13:22:49 Milkyway@home Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform 10.09.2009 13:22:49 Milkyway@home [error] No application found for task: windows_intelx86 20 cuda23; discarding Then it started to download CPU wus only - never got any CUDA wu. My best guess is that one would need an app_info file with entries for the optimized CPU app and the CUDA app as well. Any help with that would be appreciated. |

CUDA Application for 32 bit Windows

Updating Server Daemons Tonight
(Message 28213)
Posted 22 Jul 2009 by Senilix Post: I'm having trouble with my nVidia crashing with computation errors on GPUgrid. I started crunching GPUgrid last week with a GTX 260 and ended up with computation errors on every single WU. Then i switched to an older nVidia driver (181.22) and - bingo : everything is running smoothly now. So i think it's a driver issue with all 3 of you. Of course i will crunch for MW as soon as the CUDA app is out and running. I'm really looking forward to it ... |

New faster application?
(Message 8264)
Posted 12 Jan 2009 by Senilix Post: Is there a new faster application available? I've found by accident that user NetMonitoring is delivering results with a runtime of 400 seconds each. Task info shows he's running application version 0.71. Official application version is 0.07. Anyone any idea where to get this faster app? |
