Hello,

Serves become frequently unavailable recently. Since gpu wus take very little time to complete and number of wus per host is limited, isnt anyone concerned about the project's sustainability?

Regards.

It keeps getting new wus and there seems to be no check on this rig. Strange that there's no official response yet.

CPU Runtime variation is huge: 32 to 4700 seconds. I wonder why?
Wasn't nbody supposed to be multi-thread? Currently, the app runs single thread (app per core)

11) Message boards : Number crunching : Run Time Behaviour (Message 51739)

Post:
Hello,

http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=31031387

When you check this wu, the completion time seems very low. Such behaviour occurred when i restart the rig during crunching and although computation continued from where it left, the runtime calculation restarted. Shouldn't the runtime also continue from where it left?

Regards.

Apart from 11.3, any newer catalyst driver gave me BSOD at some point. Therefore, i do not suggest you to update your driver unless it is necessary for an application upgrade. I do not think it's related to OC since cpu usage appears to be same for newer drivers.

When it comes to AMD, i don't play and crunch on the same machine. Stability and performance have always been substitutes in CCC:)

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I have very few of these invalid or error wus. Most of them are cancelled by server.

I don't use any app_info, cpu and only have one backup project which doesn't use cpu as well. BOINC Version 6.10.60, catalyst 11.3, 7 Pro X64SP1.

Also, I downclock the memory within official limits unlike the unofficial one in MSI AB. If i downclock more than 1/2 of the initial memory amount, than at some point, the driver causes BSOD.

Hope the info helps.

Suz's surgery went extremely well. She's eaten and been walking quite a bit and says other than pain from the incision sites she's feeling pretty good.

Excellent news man. High five:)

I don't understand the rush for double credit. The admins clearly stated that they will do when the right time comes and considering the amount of credits lost during the outage, it is not a big deal.

Come on people...What is the deal with 1M, 2M or 3M... it is just one or two days...

So just keep being attached to the project and crunch:)
