Can anyone explain that? The n-body are random lengths, only way to know is to let it run a bit and calculate it out to see the length. The ps tasks generally run at the pre-estimated time.

What's going on? Are you crunching on cpu or gpu ? If cpu then it is ok. For gpu it depends on your card but usually under 30 minutes max If you look her only computer doesn't have a gpu.

Taking care of those should help to bring the number down. The continual errors certainly would, but AFAIK there's no way we can stop those machines from continually sending us junk. Is it possible to ban a host? Yes. It was done on Nanohive years ago. Don't know how but he did ban some hosts or users. IP addy maybe? Not quite sure what to do about the WU hogs either, seems like that's a BOINC bug. Actually maybe I'll complain on the BOINC lists about that. Have a link to any of those offenders I could forward on? A few threads exist with both listes (errors and timeouts). You are still showing using another app. MilkyWay@Home Anonymous platform (CPU) If you still have those tasks abort them and reset. Using any other app than MW's stock app will all be invalid and not give you any credit.

You should be using a stock app if you are, no others are supported now. Easiest was to switch back is to "reset" MW in Boinc.

This is part of why the Donations page was put up. Whatever money was raised before didn't seem to do much of any improvement. Many have offered in the past to buy/ donate parts, it hasn't happened. The last visualization of completed work was a picture or two from last year. No modeling has been shown/ put together yet. Is it possible to say how many flops needed to finish the MilkyWay@home project? I don't think it could be very specific as different style searches take different amounts of steps. Is there a end? If it all gets run and sorted out eventually yes. When that will be, who knows. No real update has been given in many months, so it is hard to be more specific.
