3) Message boards : Number crunching : Milkyway on cpu (Message 40964) Posted 17 Jul 2010 by ToxicTBag Post: Am new to Milkyway message boards so apologies if i have done anything incorrectly. ;-) I have 3 machines which are currently doing seti on cpu and gpu (nvidia), i would like to know the best way to set them up so i can do milkyway on the 3 cpu and let seti have the gpu time. I noticed i can resume project and pause project within boinc but if i run milkyway permanently i dont want to be building up a large amount of cpu tasks for seti as the wingmen wont be happy and it would be a waste. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated, i have the optimised apps for mway and look forward to your reccomendations. Thank You
