2) Message boards : Number crunching : Losts of Validate errors (Message 71230) Posted 9 Oct 2021 by Brent Post: In the last few days I am getting a lot of Validation Errors. In the past, I would get a few errors once in a while, which I could live with. However, the last few days the error rate has become unacceptable. This large number of errors is wasting a lot of computer power and time. Below is a listing of errors: Oct. 9 5 errors Oct. 8 8 errors Oct. 7 3 errors Oct. 6 1 error Oct. 5-3 0 errors Oct. 2 1 error You can see the error rate has become unacceptable the last 3 days. Is this a problem with MilkyWay@home or is it an error on my computer? I am running a Dell computer with the latest Windows 10. Can someone please help me! Thanks.

5) Message boards : Number crunching : Boincstats not getting credited until middle of the night (Message 70641) Posted 28 Feb 2021 by Brent Post: My MilkyWay credit is not getting credited until in the middle of the night on Boincstats. However, my credit gets credited several times a day on FreeDC. This is not a major issue for me, but it is somewhat frustrating. Any explanation or fix for this?

Some older machines do not have those instructions (especially AMD), and that may be the cause of this rash of Compute Errors with Illegal Instruction. Well since I am having my failures on an Intel i5-750 system with Windows 7, I don't believe this is the problem.

But that is it! I have aborted all of my other Milkyway tasks and will accept no more tasks until I am notified this problem has been fixed.
12) Message boards : Number crunching : Computation Error on NBody Model (Message 42186) Posted 16 Sep 2010 by Brent Post: I have a task (de_nbody_model1_1_2789_1284175894_3) that is displaying a Computation error after almost 24 hours (23:45:26) of computer time! What might have gone wrong and, more importantly, how can I prevent this from happening in the future? I hate to waste almost a days work for nothing!
