At work I downgraded to 12.6 in order to make my HD4850 work.
At home with my HD6950 I'm also gaming so I'm not willing to downgrade.
The only solution is to keep using the "modified fit", although these WU's seem to give less credit/hour than the standard ones.

Had the same issue with my HD6950 for months. Rolling back to older drivers is not an option. It's a shame the devs didn't fixed the problem yet.

I agree with Antoine, there is no way they relabeled the 5870 into 6870.

Even the 67xx which are known to share the same chip with 57xx aren't just relabeled, but are actually different cards, though the difference is very small.

And yes, the local stores do hire often incompetent people. I always know more about the product that I buy, than the guy which is selling it to me.

Try this, it's one of my favorite articles:

You can add the Nvidia Quadro 600 (do not confuse with 6000).

Tested and 100% working.

It's a little bit slow, but it's better than nothing :)

I see that HD4730 it's not listed here, nor is listet anywhere as non DP capable.

So my question is: Does it support DP or not? Did anyone tested it?

And yes, I googled it few times and did not found anything.

Thank you.

Update: onik1318 said that it does support it. You should add it to the list!
