I'm the Co-site Admin at the AMD Users Distributed Computing Team forum http://amdusers.com . I started messing with computers as a Blood Bank laboratory scientist with an IBM SY/36 mini-computer and got bitten by the PC bug when the original IBM-PC/XT was released. Now I manage a mini farm at home ranging from an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X muticore to a couple of dual socket Xeons. The Intel machines are quite impressive crunchers. I recently added some Ryzen CPUs and the Ryzen 9 3900X is a hot beast.
I like to support projects that provide feedback from the Admins) and pay well - Cobblestones. I hate long running tasks and generally avoid such projects.
I'm enjoying GPU tasks also. |
