Your personal background. |
I was born in 1961 and have been playing with computers since 1986. I like computers - I
like making them and I like using them. I got into Seti@Home in 1999 and since then have
been hooked on Distributed Computing: The world, nearly every home in it, is full of computers, all powerful beyond the wildest dreams of anyone living 25 years ago. Nearly all of this goes to waste. With BOINC it doesn't have to!
I live in Edinburgh in Scotland and am webmaster and official blogger for The Scottish bBoinc Team, formerly Scotland's Seti. |
Your opinions about MilkyWay@home |
Why do you run MilkyWay@home?
I run everything however worthless! ;-)
What are your views about the project?
And this is worthwhile. How our galaxy was formed - That's a biggie!
Any suggestions?
The workstream needs to be more constant. I don't like my resources to be idle so if MW hesitates for a second my computers will run something else instead, :-/ |
