I have 2 3870X2's so 4 gpu cores, however boinc and gpuz shows that only 2 gpus are being used, how can I sort this out? No dummy needed if destktop is extended. Tested & Works on Win7. |

Checked on the ATI Stream SDK site, and found that my graphics chip in my laptop (ATI Mobility radeon HD 4650) is on the list, but MW is griping about not having an ATI card with double precision. I'm using BOINC 6.10.18, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Is this because the Stream support (according to ATI) is in beta? Or do I need to download something extra to make the chip work right in double precision? Or does MW not support this chiptype? |

The HD 4650 does not have double precision capability necessary to process MilkyWay tasks. from: http://developer.amd.com/gpu/ATIStreamSDK/assets/ATI_Stream_SDK_Getting_Started_Guide_v2.0.pdf and http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=1505 |

I'm using BOINC 6.10.18, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Looks like it is working fine for you over at Collatz though. We use 3800 series, 4770, 4800 series, 5800 series and 5900 series as they all support double precision. Collatz supports any ATI card from the 2400 up. |
