You need to run an Optimized App

see sticky post near the top of "Number crunching"

If you need help I will walk you through it.

No thanks, i would not like to get my cpus busy for hour with a wu that required 2 minutes of gpu computing under win

I prefer to use cpu for only-cpu project

I will wait for an ati app =)

btw, all the lastest software:
Karmic 64
catalyst 9.12
boinc 6.10.32

I agree with you. ATI GPU's in my Win Boxes, Nvidia GPU's in my Linux boxes.

CPU's for CPU projects

GPU's for projects that has them. sadly not many to chose from

Theoretically this week I could put out a Linux ATI/OpenCL application for testing. It's not yet as fast as the Windows ATI one, but it's something.

This OpenCL client wouldn't be the elusive n-body app for GPU's would it?

It's still coming. I was going to put up something to test with a few weeks ago but then I got sidetracked with lots of other things.

You're going to use CAL++ instead of OCL now (i hope so)?
