Thought I'd see if the constituency here has any interest in a Server Stats Graphs page like the ones I have for SETI, Orbit, and LHC. If there's an interest, and Travis is OK with it, I'll toss something together. Let me know what y'all think. |

Good idea Scarecrow, provided Travis can spare the time from project things. Go away, I was asleep |

Good idea Scarecrow, provided Travis can spare the time from project things. All Travis need do is give a thumbs up. Mostly just a courtesy to make sure he doesn't mind the tracking of the server queues and daemons by reading of the Server Status XML file once an hour. All the database/graphic/hosting voodoo is done on my site so other than that 500ms hit to the site once an hour, he won't even know I'm here. :) For those not familiar with my Graphs site, here's a couple links: SETI Graphs Orbit Graphs LHC Graphs |

Graphs sound good. We'll really be able to get a feeling of the server load then. |

Seems pretty sweet to me :) I'm all for it! Thanks, Travis! Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Permission has been granted. Let the Milkyway Graphs commence! Multi-View Graph Page http://bluenorthernsoftware.com/scarecrow/mwstats/graphs.php Single-View Graph Page (Requires Javascript) http://bluenorthernsoftware.com/scarecrow/mwstats/index.html Data Table http://bluenorthernsoftware.com/scarecrow/mwstats/mwstat.html Server/Daemon History http://bluenorthernsoftware.com/scarecrow/mwstats/page.html There's only a few days worth of data collected so far, so it will take a little time for the longer time frame graphs to fill in. Have at 'em and let me know if you run across any bugs or other weirdness. |
