Boinc not communicating with the server?

Hello, I realize that this would be a question better posed to the Boinc help, but due to my only internet access having a ridiculous nanny filter I can't use Skype, which is how the help desk works. I recently got my computer wiped and reloaded with Windows seven and tried to reinstall Boinc and start number crunching again. However after I downloaded the Boinc Manager nothing happens, and I get an error that says either "cannot connect to the core client" or "the password provided is incorrect" (I didn't put in any password). Does anyone know any way I can solve this problem, or how to contact Boinc help without Skype? Thank you. |

To connect help via email, click on a user's name...http://boinc.berkeley.edu/help_lang.php?lang=English It looks like you haven't setup BONIC Manager. Under tools, attach to your project(s). There is where you supply your email and password. |
