MilkyWay@home is the only project which has a type of tasks (MilkyWay or ps-separation), that are:

SENT and REPORTED

even when "Network communication suspended" in BOINC ! :-)

I have seen it seven times now. With all different computers and all versions of BOINC client on all windows (WinXP, Win7 32, Win7 x64 and Win8 x64 )

Amazing !

How is that possible? Anyone any suggestions? :O
Thanx.

If you are posting a new message within 60 minutes of your last post you can use the EDIT key and just add it to you old post if you'd like.

As for your problem I have no idea though, sorry. I looked thru the config file options here http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Client_configuration and could not find anything that stops the connections.

Well, don't forget that standard MW tasks don't upload or download the conventional way, so if you force a manual project update while net comm is suspended that will override the preference and you would report completed work and get new work.

Other than that, I've set my hosts to network suspended and not have them do anything until I re-enable it.
