I just upgraded from Slackware64 14.0 to Slackware64 14.1. I installed the 13.11 Beta 6 driver (was working fine before). So what did I forget to do?

FIRST off I am NOT a Linux guy so am only posting what I have seen in the past as a possible solution, that being said what I saw was in this thread:
