It would appear that something mysterious has happened to the validator. Previously the queue stayed in the neighborhood of 6000 wu's, with higher spikes when things got stuck. After the system was down the other day the queue now appears to have settled in, hovering around 40000 wu's. The assimilation queue seems to be growing in leaps and bounds too.

Look at bright side... just think how boring the graphs would be without the occasional high hills and deep, wide valleys.

I suspect your infrastructure is subjected to the mischiefs of a grumpy troll. Every time it feels alone (during holidays, you on a hike, etc.) it start going mayhem on your servers.

I've seen this sort of behavior before...definitely an infestation of underpants gnomes.

(Is that the roar of servers I hear in the background?)

Good idea Scarecrow, provided Travis can spare the time from project things.

All Travis need do is give a thumbs up. Mostly just a courtesy to make sure he doesn't mind the tracking of the server queues and daemons by reading of the Server Status XML file once an hour.
All the database/graphic/hosting voodoo is done on my site so other than that 500ms hit to the site once an hour, he won't even know I'm here. :)

Thought I'd see if the constituency here has any interest in a Server Stats Graphs page like the ones I have for SETI, Orbit, and LHC. If there's an interest, and Travis is OK with it, I'll toss something together.
