It is not about this WU, but the delayed verification of all following ones. I do not expect to get exceptional treatment. However, as all participants, we are designating our computing power to a project. I do not have a problem with delayed response. However, if milky way wants people to take part in solving their tasks, they should at least respond and say" sorry, i don't care about your issues" and that would be fine. I am now certain, that ( after your extremely over the top response), that this project is not worth it. I would advise anyone, who is following this thread to abandon this project.

But none of them are validated, because they need a second user to verify the results. I am pumping in more and more results and my RAC keeps dropping. This is not good, and i want this to be fixed. I think, there should be an allowance of at least 24h. As performance of computers/graphics cards varies a lot, the buffer should be based on a i7 920(for now a reasonable standard) and an ati xxxx (to be determined) as a reference. Any comments?

If you get a "80 PLUS Gold" rated one, this can reduce the power consumption (and the heat). They may be a bit more expensive, but you recover the extra cost through you electricity bill.
