That's pretty good for a year. You're certainly not causing the global warming.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic ;) Even so, it looks somewhat less compared to my electric bill for a month.

My monthly electric is something like that...my monthly gas bill is usually about £40. We get totally ripped off in this country on energy bills.

I just paid $135 for my electric, I probably will not have to get any propane until December/January as it is only being used for the water heater and cooking at the moment and I really don't use it for heating in the winter either.

Try living here. Everyone wants to raise the prices and taxes. And nusto wants to tax the crap out of all energy so nobody can afford anything.

Or about $15 a month for Propane, Not bad, Right now Gas is used for heating water(although the cold water line gets heated real well by the outside heat of the day) and yep cooking twice a day on the Gas Range(Whirlpool rules here, As all My appliances are of that brand, Dumb luck really), The 7500 swamp cooler pump is not good enough, I've got to get new pads and either a 8500 or a 10000 cfm pump, As cooking/heating dinner raises the Temp by 4F in here from 86F to 90F currently and the humidity falls nearer to 60% instead of wherever It was normally as It varies depending on the humidity or the lack outside of the house. :D

You are maybe closer than you think. There are many schemes to harness the power of the seas to generate power through waves in estuarys. Tides are caused by the effect of the earths satellite.

You could say it is MOON power....
