Wait, first you go off camping for astronomical times, and now you need a nap - just who do you think you are? <g>

Hopefully boinc stats will update soon (i'm back after a much needed nap). Let me know if/when they update and if that reflects what your credit should be (minus the bit we lost this morning).

No MW for me on BOINCstats, but it looks like the others have me back up to normal.

Looking back at my stats it looks like after the restore I lost a few thousand credits. I drop in the bucket compared to what I saw this morning before I went to bed. Much rather lose 5 or 6,000 than the 470,000+ I saw this morning.

GREAT JOB Travis and staff for a job well done in having a current backup and a faster still restore.

Well, I had been up for a good 24 hours or so when the server went down because I've been working on a publication with the results you guys have been recently crunching. When it rains, it pours :P

After getting things somewhat back to normal that nap felt reaaaaaally good.

um ... not everything OK, I hope it's just the BOINC cache or an index :

A bunch of tasks from earlier today have been marked "no longer usable" and exactly those are affected and my PC's task list was empty.

My user task list was _not_ empty, but if I opened the older tasks, the PC they are attached to is not mine, e.g. :

http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/result.php?resultid=63855306

from my task list is attached to

http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/show_host_detail.php?hostid=73028

belonging to DrMASH

Tasks that I downloaded just now have the correct host entry.

Similar for me (tasks listed for another host belonging to another user)...

MW is not showing up still in My sig and I found out why, It's cause the cpid doesn't match(according to BoincStats), S@H, ufluids, Gpugrid, Einstein, and Rosetta show up, But MW so far is off on It's own with an invalid id as seen below, Maybe soon this will get fixed, Although so far I've seen no change, It's like I crunch, But I'm not officially there. Both do have the same cpid according to BS, But so far It ain't working for Me. I can't do anything about older retired projects of course as that one doesn't even show up and I gather It won't ever either, sigh.

Being it says to Detach & Reattach did you try that? In Boinc pick MW and hit 'detach'. (In case you don't know)

Ususally to get your cpid back on track, you just have to attach all the computers also to your first BOINC-project (no need to crunch anything there - just update).

I had that problem quite often with rigs doing only RieselSieve, since then I got all attached to Seti at 0.1%/NNT by default.

What about a Reset after all WUs have crunched?

It won't hurt, I believe it deletes the files and puts your debts for MW to 0. You may need to re-add the opti app.

I don't know why you are getting that or how to fix it. I haven't seen it before.

Here is an intensive Boinc Faq. It doesn't seem to cover your error. worth bookmarking though.

I'm not sure when...whether it was before I did the detach/reattach or not but I'm almost positive that I saw an "ERROR=500"

OK, I bit the bullet and did the dreaded detach/reattach and all seems well now.
However make sure if you are running opti apps...You must re-install them!

All seems well again, lost about 8k more than I expected to, but I can live with that. Well done all at Milkyway.

Don't know if anyone took in mind the MW_GPU project. It lost around half of the users. It was nearing 1000 when I last looked and now it is around 520. Not that it matters yet, since it isn't being used.
