I was wondering if it would be possible to create a future so that you assign to run a specific project on one core and another one on another core if you have a computer with multiple cores. This is a function in BOINC that I have missed for many years now. How ever nowadays when multi core CPUs and multi processor PCs gets only more and more common I think it's even more urgent ! But maybe that is a function you could set on your "MilkyWay@home preferences" page instead ???? Like On multiprocessors, use at most: 1 processor , just like on the General Preferences page. |
