Seems that the Ready to send was reduced by 90%. It's usually ~500-600 not ~60. Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected? If it makes sense, DON'T do it. |

LoL not only mine but all i know who are running Mw get almost nothing or even worse totally nothing. But also have found that the 4890/4870 ati cards do less units then my 4850 cards Possible both issues are related to the shortage on work or some other issue going on. Anyway mine have run dry again Its new, its relative fast... my new bicycle |

LoL not only mine but all i know who are running Mw get almost nothing or even worse totally nothing. As anybody with a 1/2 a Brain has probably already figured out this Project wastes more Electricity & Resources than all the other BOINC Projects Combined. Half the time your ATI Cards sit Idle while still burning up Electricity because the Project either can't or won't allow a big enough Cache to keep them running. I watched both my Dual 4850 X2 Box's for awhile and though their supposed to be running 12 Wu's each (The Default 3 Per Core)hardly ever did they even have 12 Wu's on board to be running the Default Amount of 3 Per Core. While they ran the few they did get they wouldn't even call for more work until those 6 Wu's or 8 Wu's or whatever amount of Wu's they had running finished. Then and only then would they call for more work, and even then they would be lucky to get 3 or 4 more ... |

I have a whole brain, and therefore I am well aware that Alpha/Beta projects are of this nature. If I do not like this then like everyone else, I have the option to go and crunch elsewhere. Don't drink water, that's the stuff that rusts pipes |

LoL not only mine but all i know who are running Mw get almost nothing or even worse totally nothing. So, let me see if I understand. Your cards at idle are "wasting electricity", despite drawing less power at idle than at load? It is the project's fault because you opt to keep your systems turned on? It is the project's fault because BOINC is CUDA-based and the cache here is based on the number of CPU cores that you have, but you don't understand that if the per-core limit were increased to 24 at a time, you would also be fighting against all of the CPU-only quad-core (and higher) systems out there and the project has already demonstrated it is barely able to keep up with the current level of demand? As I said: if(complaining-continues) { create gpu project; } else { create gpu project anyway so that there won't be complaining; //at least not in the CPU project's forums } |

LoL not only mine but all i know who are running Mw get almost nothing or even worse totally nothing. That's why I've dusted off my script (or someone else's script). I haven't seen the GPUs idle due to lack of work since I started it running again, but until I see a constant flow of longer wu's it will stay running. Now to work out why my comp freezes every so often..... Btw, with a project which generates work based on the results returned, I don't think the BOINC back off system is really suited since there may be more work generated the second after you get the no work available message but BOINC just backed off a large amount. A script is the only way around this. |

Must try a collatz ati and mv ati mix in one computer. Sounds delicious with a 4850, with no work on mv |
