Due to a lack of funding, Travis' role has greatly diminished in the Milkyway Project. Anyone wishing to donate it could go towards us helping to get him back on board full-time on the project.

Thank You for your consideration

I like this project. My $5 donation smaller than $25, but (I think) better than 0.
:)

I believe in MilkyWay@Home.

The last post is still 4 months old and that wasn't really an update. Only stating a paper is being done. I think everyone would like a real update.

It's true, very cold! BUt UND is treating me very well, and my Wildlife@Home project just got some NSF funding which I'm really excited about.

I have a few more computer science-y things here that I'm planning on implementing in the next couple weeks. A new search type in particular. And I think we'll be able to publish some results from that. There'll be more news on that soon enough.

Please remember Milkyway forum folks are volunteers along with their other duties. Your donation is very much appreciated and will be acknowledged with a badge shortly.

But then it is very uncertain for us volunteers invest time and money into projects it has barely can answer questions, let alone solve the problems..
Please note all of your answer to store for my current and future publishers for the world to analyze all BOINC projects.

Your donation is appreciated greatly. Milkyway staff are mostly volunteers with full-time work, student responsibilities and families alongside their Milkyway work. Please allow time for the staff to address your concern.

UPDATE: I am not sure if we have donation badges in place yet but I am looking into this further. It may take into next week to obtain an answer as RPI is a college campus and is pretty much shut down for the weekend.

We appreciate your patience and apologize for the delay.

The form should state it takes one to two weeks for the badges to appear on your profile.
The financial data is separate from this site, for security reasons. We get confirmation reports on a periodic basis hence the time window stated on the form.

As soon as I get the confirmation information I will update the database and your profile.

Did you donate on the 24th as your posting or was it early. If it is outside of the time window I need to track down the issue with the information.
