Hi Guys!

I don't have a ATI-Card, so im crunching MW on CPU only. I have unchecked "Use GPUs for Computation?" in my preferences, still MW is always requesting tasks for GPU. Why is this and how can I stop MW from doing so?

PS: I'm running the optimized app from zslip.com. Do I have to edit the app_info?

Dont worry it wont download GPU WUs its bug with Boinc 6.6.36, there are some newer versions but they are still beta. I'm using 6.10.0 myself, if you dont have any more than a couple projects running at a time it works ok.

it's not a bug, 6.10.+ will have this protocol request for all projects, get use to the message, the client should only request gpu work from non-gpu projects once every 24 hrs or so.

I recommend Secunia PSI: http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/

Thanx Folks!

Yes, I know it won't download any GPU-tasks, but sometimes it's only rquesting GPU-tasks and none for CPU and that every few minutes which is a little bit irritating. Guess I could live with one request every 24 hours or so.....;-)

So I think I will try 6.10.x myself within the next days since I also have problems with the "won't finish in time"-issue, and this one is really annoying. Guess it's fixed in 6.10.x, isn't it?
