I recently retired some hosts from MW and want to delete them from the list, but some WUs won't go away:

Workunit 1583110
Workunit 1577472
Workunit 32768249

Strange thing is, the first 2 show "granted credit 0.00" in the summary and "granted credit 30.xx" in the table below.

This ran twice as long as normal. Not sure why. The power did cut out during it running. So maybe it restarted all of the computations and didn't reset the time.

Sounds like MW, cut the credits and make the WUs longer without a word. I've gotten some too. I started dumping them on my machines that used to take <1.25 hours. I had one at 8+ hours and still needed another 3.5 hours to complete. Maybe it's something with the WUs themselves, but they are not completing as usual. I'll be checking my other machines and if they are the same, they will be dumped also. I've also noticed that my Task duration correction factor jumped from 0.342433 to 1.404795 after completing one of the WUs.

Well... none of this is on purpose.

Was this happening with the previous searches? (the ones on stripe 15, and 82?)

Travis, can you just purge those WUs I mentioned in the first post...?

Maybe there are some more from Feb/Mar lingering around in the database...

I haven't had any problems otherwise, yet. One other unit has finished fine and the next seems ok also.

I have had many of these huge WU i assumed that was intended by Mw admins
They took much more time to complete and my rac dropped like a rocket under 125k at certain point.
Those units took at my 4850 cards over 3 minutes to complete while normally they did in 1 minute.
Currently my rac went up alot since i received newer units that seem to complete at normal times that i saw before the credit drop.
Now my rac is only 30-40k lower then before the credit lowering.
Its new, its relative fast... my new bicycle

Another two from August on my main cruncher:

and this one isn't validated for over 24h:

Another one not being purged:

Workunit 120949976

Nice little collection by now...
Seems I attract those - at Cosmo I got some unpurged from Jan 08.

The good side of the server/hdd crash: all those unpurged WUs are gone.

Case closed.
