These wus keep getting longer with no credit increase. I am now up to 90 min from 60-65 with the v.20 app. My claimed credit is 12.85 from ~8, (was up to 11 last week). So that is a further ~33% reduction of credits. I am now getting about 66% of the credits I was before this last credit kill.

Now own up to what has been done and correct it. If it is these wus than clear them out. It not put the credit where it should be for the increase.

If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

If the WUs take longer to process, they should give more credits - that's what the flops measurements are meant to accomplish. If those are wrong, that should be fixed.

I have not noticed any increase in crunching time for those on my HD4850, they still take the same 55-56s as all the long WUs have taken with v0.20 app.

The batch I just got, several of them seem to be taking longer. Not sure if it is because I was running it alongside a COllatz task or what ...

I am running down my list of Collatz and then when I start to run the MWs I will report back ... at the moment I am very confused... though with two ATI GPUs... it is not a bad state to be in ... two GPUs, Collatz takes 7 minutes less ... :)

At one point I had a MW and a Collatz WU running at the same time on my only GPU and both of them were taking a lot longer than usual.

That behavior I would expect. In my case I have two GPUs and usually two tasks in flight right now. If both GPUs are running either project I get "normal" run times ... it seems if one GPU is running one project and the other is running the other project both of those tasks take longer ... well, the one Collatz takes longer and the several MW tasks take longer ... because there is still a 10:1 total time difference ...

Noticing the same thing... Looks like those tasks take significantly longer for CPUs, since someone with a GPU is saying they aren't noticing runtime changes... What's real interesting is my AMD, which should be significantly faster, took around the same amount of CPU time, but I had other things going on... While that shouldn't matter as for the CPU time, I'll see what happens with a few while I'm sleeping tonight...

Very little sleep....

Anyway, interesting developments... My P4 choked on a couple of these tasks with "can't write init file" (exit status -185). My AMD is chugging along faster than what it was before... The P4 is running the SSE2 version of 0.20 (Gipsel), while the AMD is runing the SSE3 version...

Will keep monitoring...

I have also been noticing a similar problem...maybe it is related to the fact that I upgraded to ATI9.9 for Collatz, but my 3x4870 host will 'hang' MW work units, sometimes for hours...I thought it might be related to memory, so I dropped to running 1 MW at a time, but still had the problem...

I am running 6.10.3 with 8 POEM on the CPU and have gone back to Collatz, as I don't have time to investigate right now...

My single card setups will run fine for the most part, but will hang MW once and a while, until the current WU finishes, then starts the hung WU, and the next one will hang...really weird...

After many tries with new boinc i went back to old versions

(legenda i leave the first 6 of the version)

You can believe me or not but i went back to 6.x versions since i had many problems with the 10.xx versions.

when i wanted to go back to 6.36 i got also nasty no connection withing boinc so i took good old 5.0 or 4.7 and that restored the issue after which i installed 6.36 again

I had many problems with units hanging for hours or not getting new work at all or not sending the units properly so for now i won't touch 10.xx for a while

Now all projects run smooth again, but i must admit sometimes collatz hangs when i use some graphical program.
And when that happens you'll find mw hang also, but if i don't use any program which use the vc other then windows it runs smoothly
So i guess collatz still have a minor issue somewhere

But that machine was running just fine before the switch to 9.9...guess I will have to roll back to 8.12 and install 9.9 when MW goes down...or I just won't do MW on that machine anymore...
