Err, okay. I will try 0.20b again with that parameter (whatever that does) when I get home (in about 12 hours).

I just checked my 4830 and found it was running around 80% load, I put in the b-1 and it is now at 98%.

Ok, using the b-1 command along with 3 WU setting on 0.20b seems to be hammring the GPU pretty good:

Still, I don't like uneven numbers (after all, 0.33*3 is oly 0.99 so I am wasting 0.01 GPUs, no?) so I'm gonna try running 4 concurrently next.

Haha, yes you are definitely missing out on 0.01 of a GPU, I can see that by your slow completion times. :)
That looks even smoother than before. Whenever I see that graph, it reminds me of those movies where they are watching someone's heartbeat. And then it stops.....and gives that long beep tone.

You mentioned extra efficiency and lower fan speed by undervolting your HD 5870 slightly. Have you tried to run a bit cooler and also save some power by reducing your memory speed? Although memory bandwidth is important for Collatz, it makes virtually no difference to runtime using a reduced memory speed on MilkyWay. At least it doesn't on previous generation GDDR5 cards, so the HD 58xx models may be the same. Default memory speed for my HD 4890 is 1000 MHz and I run at 500 MHz on MilkyWay and did not notice any difference in performance, but it runs a fair bit cooler. If you haven't tried it already, you could try 800 MHz memory perhaps if you wished.

LoL i need to learn to stop editting the app_info.xml with all parameters, just use it plain as it comes.
Now i can see if more parameters are needed.
I used it with only the added b-1 parameter and it runs smooth
When i used my old parameters N3 F15 W0.7 it crashed on every unit
Ofcourse needed to clear copro part also since i run 6.36 version

On the memory i agree i have tried many settings on WM
But i see hardly any difference when using stock (4850 - 993, 4770 - 800(3200)) or oc speeds(4850-1150, 4770 850(3400))
Not sure why it has so little impact
I will try on collatz later if that has some gain but i guess will not be stellar either
Its new, its relative fast... my new bicycle
