What did I miss on my reinstall? Using 185.xx drivers that were working with boinc 6.4.7 yesterday.

I'm seems you need to update Direct X.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

Thanx. I think I had something messed up with the user 'boinc-master'. Didn't actually figure it out but when I reinstalled v6.10.13 and the MW ati .20 application all was good again... at least running 1 WU. Playing with that now. Running two of them seems to work fine and the total elapsed time is coming in a few seconds under running two of them sequentially.

Having the same problem. Updated the directX and already have .Net onboard my X64 PC. I may have to try the reinstall of BOINC and the app. for GPU Hmmm I installed the 0.20b app. perhaps I'll back off to the 0.20

turns out it was a amd/ati driver naming problem. got that solved. Unfortunately the WU's cause my computer to crash. luckily they only take a minute to run. unfortunately I cant have my computer crashing every other minute
