*takes a number*

So, uh... is there where I whine about how Collatz and MW are both down at once, and have been for days? Oh, and I just finished installing a new shiney HD4890 (I know, I know, 4800 series is so last month) which is now idling. It's a crime, really.

So... is this the place?

:P

I know, I know, I am sitting here with my nice shiney 5970, and nothing to crunch.

The lack of points. ;-) If I didn't care about points my PS3 would be running F@H instead of running YellowDog Linux hehe.

I was running both with my 4850. As soon as I swapped it out for the 5970 F@H spat the dummy and refused to run anymore. Like I care!

It can stick with the Nvidia boxes then, although I will put the 4850 back tomorrow so It can run on that again.

Cheers

*LOL* True, no points right now, but also no power consumption for the idle graphic cards. :D
Lovely greetings, Cori

Yeah, let's not kid ourselves. Either you're paying for science, or you're buying points. This is the most expensive video game I own, so I'm going to give the power company a break and then start buying the points I care about the most again when I can. If F@H counted on my BOINC stats, they'd be getting my GPU time. But they don't, so they aren't. ;-)

Very true, but they are at a different Uni. Academic rivalry rules!

Ok with the 4870s but it uses only one of my PC's 6 GPU cores!!

Yep I got that as well with only one GPU being supported too.
I followed the read me's carefully but could not get more than one cpu and gpu to run.

I have not even tried for the 5970, so I am gratified that you are having the same problem with your 5870.

Hopefully after Monday, and Travis' gentle pushing of the lab staff, MW, or Collatz, will be back to full volume and I won't need F@H for ages?????

I sure wish Seti would hurry up with the ATI application.

I have both of my Video cards doing SETI Beta for now, just something for them to do and keep the house warm.

Send some of your cool weather this way please. It's 37.1°C at noon here, I'll have to shut down in a hour or so when it will probably be about 40-42°C. Thankfully can't see any smoke or hear any choppers yet so no crazy person has set fire to the local National Park.
