Yep down again.

Go to the home page, click on Server Status, and the feeder is down , and the transitioner, and . . .

Why is it trying to contact the server so often? If everyone is doing this, it's no wonder there are problems. I have 24 jobs queued up which is enough for a day, and usually what it stays at. That has to be over-taxing the server... What can I do?

One option is to suspend "Network activity" in boinc.

We had some more nasty hard drive errors. We just took the new drive out to run some diagnostics on it, and everything checked out so labstaff thinks we have a problem with the controller.

Looks like we're going to have to order more hardware before things get running really smoothly :( I've started sending work back out but if the machine crashes again I think we're going to have to wait until we have a new controller.
