Hello,

I have 32 bit kernel
$ uname -m
i686

and my GPU is idle (8600GT). Is it so, because of those 32 bits? Or maybe Boinc has to be in some version, or I need to turn it on somehow?
On the page with hosts http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/hosts_user.php I have "---" as gpu for that computer.

You need a double precision capable Video Card to run MW. An 8600gt is only single precision. A 260 gt and up (275/280/285/295)are double precision. Not sure if 250's can be used?

Thank you for replay. That means I'll share my cpu only.
