Checking through these pages I got "Temporary Down for maintenance" just now, clicked back 2 pages and all is fine again.

It looks like somebody is doing something as the Server Status shows the feeder offline. The status showed all running befort that.

I've got the feeder that isn't running (in messages as well as on server status page)...

Yes I got that during the night also. I am only a 2 hour drive away from the server. My leg is too short so I could not give the server a kick. Looks like the feeder is out now.

The feeder still is not running -- when it is offline, no reporting, uploads or downloads will happen.

This has become a recurring (and unexplained) problem with MW.

One hopes that with the existing admin and development folks at MW a resolution to the more frequent server problems, along with the 'funky work units' problem AND the lack of communication problems will get resolved.

MW has had a 'suboptimal' March.

I wonder if 'someone' is doing something or the server, in the absence of administration is taking matters into its own hands.

It looks like somebody is doing something as the Server Status shows the feeder offline. The status showed all running befort that.

I noticed it when I started backing up completed work units a few hours ago, but as there have been "one or two" problems of late I guessed someone somewhere would be looking at it.

Something seems to be in progress for the server. The status showed the feeder offline a few hours ago, and a good lot of work ready to send. Now, the feerer seems to be back online, but there is no work to send out.
