I have a question:
astronomy_0.19_SSSE3.exe I use and I wonder if the version astronomy_0.20SSE3.exe calculate more quickly ...
Thank you very much in advance for your response and your help.

I don't think there was much difference. Mainly that it gives more data while viewing the wus.

Version 0.20b may be a bit (5% or so) faster.

Thank you very much, but I repeat my question with fewer errors ..

My computer courses on the CPU: astronomy_0.19_SSSE3.exe (win_0.19_SSSE3) and I wonder if the version astronomy_0.20_SSE3.exe (win_0.20_Win32_SSE3) calculate more quickly.

There is no version optimized for my GPU: Intel (R) Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 P35/G33/G31 Express Chipset
driver: igxprd32.dll version 6.14.10.5029
Clok GPU: 400MHz

Following your reply I do not know if it is good to do with 0.20b .....

Thank you very much in advance for your answers ...

The application you are running is an optimized CPU application. It will not make use of your GPU (but to be honest, there's not much to make use -of-, considering we're talking integrated graphics), nor will any of the applications available for Milkyway@Home, including the official ones. You should upgrade to 0.20 for the small speed boost, but that's the best you can do unless you get yourself a good dedicated graphics card (one of the higher end ATI ones is currently recommended for this project).

I would agree and concur with that.

Check the highlights. You are describing two different opt apps. One uses SSSE3 instructions, while the other only uses SSE3 instructions. If what you have typed is correct then the SSSE3 app is probably faster then the SSE3 app (regardless of the fact that the SSE3 is revision 0.20 and the SSSE3 is revision 0.19). At least this is the experience I have.

As for GPU, opt. apps are for selected Nvidia and ATI cards. You are using an inbuilt graphics system (as displayed by the line: Intel (R) Graphics Media Accelerator).

Hope this helps.

Ce que je ne comprends pas, c'est que mon ordinateur peut calculer Collatz 4 plus un autre projet ensemble, ou 5 calculs simultanés.
Pourquoi n'est'il pas possible avec MikyWay ...??

perhaps checking "messages" possible your card doesn't support double pressision,
or that you have the CPU project running instead of the ati13ati13 GPU projects,

go to preferences and select only GPU projects, next time, you get new jobs you get the gpu then.

regards

Hi, my XP64 host (QX9650&9800GTX+&GTS250), runs 6 WU's, at a time, cause the SETI WU's only use 4% (0.04) of the CPU. (4x CPDN + 0.04CPU+GPU + 0.04CPU+GPU)

The difference with Collatz C.* is even bigger and Milky Way, could 'act' the same.
Depends if the WU can be run on the GPU completely, but does has to be loaded by the CPU.

Btw. I should try a SSSE3 CPU app. Is there a DownLoad Site?
Trying a HD5770 at Collatz C., it's [i]single precision, so can't use it here, unfortunatly.

Did found the optimized app.'s tried the X64 SSE3 app., which is faster, compaired to stock.

Also found a SSSE3, x86 version, I'm trying this ATM.
Only had a few MW WU's, cause I didn't know if the SSSE3 x86 app., is compatible with XP x64 OS and BOINC 6.10.17 X64![/color]

I do understand, from what I've read in the forum pages, only a Double Precision GPU, can be used for (optimized) GPU-Crunching.

Optimized or stock, MW only uses a double precision GPU.

Thank you follow the link to the ATI GPU setup on my other computer.
www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ase2a/
Thank you for telling me what version of milkyway I must use for calculations with SSSE3 lasts 5 hours 30 minutes and 6 hours 15 minutes

I do not understand that the calculations on my Intel Core 2 Duo with ATI graphics card lasts longer than on my computer Intel Pentium E5200.

Indeed calculations on Intel Pentium E5200 with Intel GMA GPU only lasts 3 hours.

Thank you very much in advance for your answers and your help.erci beaucoup en avance pour vos réponses et votre aide.
