Hi, 1st I want to say hi, as I am quite new to this project. I am crunching only with one GPU, and I am happy that mw@h people managed to utilise latest and greatest from ATI GPUs. I am also extremely happy that mw@h gpu work units do not use any of my cpu cycles, which are dedicated to that other project ;) So anyway, at the moment I am using ATIs 5870 at stock clocks, and already have 4.3 million points and average is 174k and going up. At 1st I thought maybe it will stop at 150k, but it is still going up. Now I am 1st on my team by average credits :) So i was wondering how high will it go? :) I know i could check it out somewhere on the net, but I am just trying to make a conversation ;) cheers ;) |

I get around 5000+ credit to my rac, and cant really say when it will stop. Its hard to calculate with rac without knowing the exact algorithm. Rac supposed to show your computing power but sometimes it could get really unrealistic. Such as if the algorithm contains d = day so it could be slow after you miss some days of crounching. But I'm not really sure about this. What I can say if you stay crounching 24/7 it will go upp fast, and stay high. ATI cards really doing good in this project. Now its picks upp a little speed because some wu-s take 12-17 minutes on your card. |

I don't know what the WU in this project is, but those small bits which look like WUs are taking about 1min 30secs to complete ;) I am crunching 24/7. |

with the short WU's coming through now I can see RAC's going 2X what they were before. even if you only get about 50% of your WU's as shorties they'll burn through about 6X faster than the standard WU's making a huge improvement to the RAC Blah blah blah you know the rest |

If you go to your MW Boincstats page, down the bottom is a table showing, among other things, the actual number of rocks you've got for each of the last 30 days. Cheers, PeterV  .

Hmmmm, it shows I am steadily increasing the credits I put out every day, but steadily going down in world ranking. Maybe I need to roll as well as rock ;) |
