Hi, sorry if this is already "old" subject, but I can not find applicable answer. In short, I have installed BOINC 6.10.18 My GPU is ATI Radeon 5670, so it should be supported! My prefferences are: ********************* Resource share If you participate in multiple BOINC projects, this is the proportion of your resources used by MilkyWay@home 100 Use CPU (enforced by 6.10+ clients) yes Use NVIDIA GPU if present (enforced by 6.10+ clients) yes Use ATI GPU if present (enforced by 6.10+ clients) yes Is it OK for MilkyWay@home and your team (if any) to email you? yes Should MilkyWay@home show your computers on its web site? yes Default computer location home Amount of concurrent blocks(NVIDIA GPUs Only) Higher values lead to shorter completion times at the expense of interface lag (1 .. 50000, default is 128) 128 ************************* OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit In View Computers under MilkyWay project my PC is correctly listed, but under GPU there is nothing??? I am crunching only with CPU?? Why and how to fix it Damir |

The 5670 is a single precision GPU, which means that it cannot be used on Milkyway, but can be used on Collatz. You need... 38xx 4730 4770 48xx 58xx Also did you install as a service (protected mode) as that will not allow BOINC to see the GPU. |

Yes, I installed in protected mode, since I wanted to crunch even when no user is logged on. OK, thanks for answers, so MilkyWay is not supporting my GPU THX again |
