Please let me know if the downloads are still failing. Thanks to Murphy and his law, while i was gone the permissions of our download directory got messed up, and all the read/write/execute permissions were gone -- this is probably why you couldn't download anything. Let me know if things are working now.

I have started to get the d/l hang today. I may get one that hangs out of about every 20 or so WUs. It is happening on both of my PCs.

I have had 4 download errors over the last 2 days with the reason of "couldn't get input files".

I've just had 7 download failures with these kind of messages:

23/01/2008 17:00:44|Milkyway@home|Giving up on download of parameters_generated_1200663811_50130: file not found
23/01/2008 17:00:44|Milkyway@home|Giving up on download of parameters_generated_1200663818_50328: file not found

All those since then have been fine.

After looking deeper it seems that everyone else assigned these wus had similar failures.

I woke up to find only one of my computers was running Milkyway - the others had stuck downloads and switched to backup projects.

Aborted the stuck downloads (which all were a 3rd, 4th or 5th re-issue) and all is well again (until the next batch of stuck downloads hits)

I had a #114 fail download. The file left that didn't finish was 'paramaters'.

It was this one: http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/workunit.php?wuid=2160610

It seems this is an ongoing problem with this unit, It says that its downloading to two computers that it has passed the deadline on.
