I have still two pages with this ones. Some from April 22.
They have run with: MilkyWay@Home Version 3 v0.03 (cuda23).

So I think Travis has to give credit for it to us, or he have to delete all of them soonest to clear up disk space.

This looks very much like the same problem that showed up two weeks ago. I was hoping to see it resolved this morning, but I bet Travis is out of town again....

Summer vacation?
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

Validator is having problems. 6k+ units now waiting. I have two since it came back that are waiting, but 3 went through immediately just now.

Yeah but that are relative "young" WU's or not?

We are talking about WU's ready from April, May... still waiting for credits, or they need still be calcualted by another computer, as there was an eroor, or just only one was issued out for crunching. Travis has to do something with it.

I've got these two that have been waiting 90 days to validate. What do I win?

96267025
96286585

Will I need to detach to get the DB to clear these??

Thx

Such impatience!
My two from 5 April beat both of you!
87978578
90147952
And one from 7th April 89614629
One more from 8th April87276724

No need to detach, they will clear in time.

On my systems the list of pending is growing
Now i am clueless since some just end up in the list of pending while the next just get rewarded as usual

And guys on this project pending is weird, this project don't need a wingman for control since its a double precision project ...
So no check by another user needed if the calculation was done well
Its new, its relative fast... my new bicycle

If you look back several months, you will find thousands of WU's that were not calculated as accurately as they should have been. Subtle bug in the ATI client vs. the 5800 series of boards.

That could be true, but I have a lot of WU's from months ago and where done with nVidia cuda. Wingman used ATI or even CPU. A lot of these WU's have at least two "good" results, but we (wingman and me) are not getting the credits for it.

Travis really have to look at this and, -or give the credits and clear the database, -or clear the database without credit. I have mentioned this many times.

I have not been using Milkyway that long but have always been puzzled by the waiting for validation element of the server status page as it never goes below approx 6200 - 6300. Also you would have thought it would vary with wu in the field and wu to be assimilated and the variability of users returning wu on an ad hoc basis

Could this possibly be that the validator just keeps missing the completed wu as TJ describes or will only look at new entries hence why there is a base level it does not go below and cant clear the 6000+ backlog?

From reading the forums there has it appears been problems with the validator in the past which may (or may not) be a clue

All speculation on my part and could be shouting up the incorrect tree on this :)
