I have two (2) in every respect identical computers. Setup the same, preferences the same, run times within .001% of one another etc.
Yet one has twice the total and average credits of the other.
Any insight into how this can be?

Thanks,
Mike

I am getting some errors (CUDA) but I just installed the GPU cards yesterday after several weeks of CPU only running and besides the credits are very small per validate error.
Total credit on one is 119,278 vs. 62,418 on the other.

Running on AQUA@home they were neck and neck after several weeks.

The one unit is getting zero errors, the other has 15-16 validate errors with 4-5 confirmed. These are all CUDA WU's. So it seems as though one GPU is not so good!
But that doesn't account for the large disparity I'm seeing overall.

BOINC client settings maybe?
Like 'don't run while computer is used'?

The first thing I noted is that the OS listed is not the same. One has Ultimate, the other does not ...

Other questions are harder to ascertain because I don't have the time to go to the other projects to see if you are there also ... but that would be my next question, I see your list shows MW and DNETC ... are you running both projects on both systems? Same shares?

Though it may look like the systems are identical, unless you clone the disks with the exact same starting point they may not be ... also, seemingly trivial differences in MB, memory and even slot placement of the GPU can make huge differences ...
