I see Catalyst 10.5 was released on 26 May. Has anyone tried it out yet? From the ATI blog site I've quite a few disgruntled people.

One computer with a Gigabyte 5830 would not run right with out 10.5. So far, no problems.

Testing 10.5 with 2 4850's on an other computer and it locks up everyday or so. But the 755 socket on this older motherboard has been abused a bit and is a known problem.

I.m using 10.5 with my 4770 and haven't had any issues. Win 7 home premiumx64. The issues that are being talked about I've seen none of. Games, crunching for MW. Collatz and DNETC all are fine. I did do a complete un-install first. Don't know if that makes a difference... Jack

It is something I learned the hard way...uninstall before installing the latest version. Be nice if they did a unified installer. I'll see if I've got time to do the upgrade tonight.
