Probably due to settings, my 2 machines downloaded tasks immediately as soon as work became available. I was watching when the downloads started because I was about to disable NNT on Collatz. Both machines ran out of work about 1 hour or so before work started flowing again.

Message 40644 - Posted: 25 Jun 2010, 0:56:27 UTC - in response to Message 40631.

Using 6.10.18 and 6.10.19, no problems getting work everytime boinc reports finished tasks automatically or manually.

The problem is with machines that lost contact with MW enough times during yesterday's outage to cause BOINC to recheck the master file. One of my machines is fine, because it didn't timeout yesterday. All of the rest got into the "Fetching" state, and cannot get out because the <scheduler> </scheduler> information does not appear to be in the new project page.

So any suggestion for getting out of the fetching state? One user has already tried detach/attach and said it did not help them.

Never surrender and never give up. In the darkest hour there is always hope.

Taking a look at it. I'm thinking it might have to do with the site redesign.

Same issue here, Message from Server (Project has no jobs available) on both my rigs. Detached one, re-attached, no joy.

Looks like mine finished its last unit around 2AM MST, I found it this morning at 7AM.

98 Collatz units downloaded to keep the GPU warm.

No WU's at my place as well.

Greetings from,

Still saying '0 results ready to go'.
My [and many others] milkdays challenge scores
http://boincstats.com/stats/challenges_stats.php?pr=milkyway&chid=40&type=credit&object=user
haven't changed in over 16hrs.
Looks like this MW challenge is turning into a Collatz challenge...
Cheers,

An excellent script, Scarecrow, and describes the reality of what Collatz has going on. But, for them it's likely to be their unreliable ISP. :((

@rcthardcore,
I noticed that, and then someone reminded me that dnetc is running a challenge atm, and has an ati client. So now I'm doing dnetc for the first time since about 2002...
Cheers,

Collatz was up earlier this morning, actually still up, but real slow response time.

I reported all my complete work but had already gotten work from DNETC.
