Dunno if anyone else has seen this problem but sometime during the week my machines stopped pulling 20 wu's and now only get one at a time. I've increased the network usage and the additional work to 10/5 but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Any suggestions? Yes you probably have the time to connect longer than the deadlines...lower it and you should get work :) |

Hi, Me, too. I had changed my connect times from many days over the Christmas absence, to 1/1, and wasn't getting anything. I've now changed to 2/2, and will see if that changes anything. If someone has tested these settings, let me know. Progress report to follow tomorrow. Ralph |

Hi, Now tried the 2 day, 2 extra day setting. No work again. I guess the next try is 3/3. Ralph |

Hi, I'm now set at 0/4, hit the update. I'll wait with connection on, and baited breath. Ralph |

0/4 should work over time depending on what your long term debt is on other projects and your resource share of MW compared to other projects....try suspending other projects and should work right away. Of course unsuspend after the work is d/l but resource share is the next thing to look at. |

Hi, The resource share was set to 20%, since I have all those other projects. The first due date for a SETI unit was 20/2/2008, so I'd have thought more recent work would take precedence. - my mistake. I only got work after suspending all other projects. I now have work. Thanks! Ralph |

Ralph-For your situation with 5 projects running you should set for 0/1 as each project will load about a days work....if set at 4 over the long term you may not get as much mw work as consistently as you want because the other projects will start running into deadline issues which will prevent mw from d/l new work. Hope that helps a little more. |

Hello, I tried 1/1 for a day, and will set it back from the 0/4. This is interesting. Ralph |
