Just watched that YouTube link .... wow, they are good - not seen them before. Really good guitar work and solid down to earth music with no silly gimmicks - good stuff :)

As long as everyone is chaty happy friendly yaddie yadda, all's cool.

I crunched at SETI for around 7 or 8 years, drifted away a little when I started at GPUGRID as they were running WUs for a Project close to my heart, so I am aware of the Kittie background.

On the recent rebuild I ended up going ATI, Fermi is a disaster on two legs from my viewpoint, so cant crunch GPUGRID for the moment. They have an ATI app in the wings waiting for SDK 2.3, see what happens when that starts.

Our cat died recently, she was an amazing old thing. We were "cat napped" in 1994, a stray at the time, achieving the impossible as my wife had always declared she hated cats - not this one!

Vet recons she was 5 years old when she got at us. So she did well, pushing 22 years old when she finally went. It was kidney failure, the weight fell off her in 3 days flat over a weekend, constantly drinking water, taking little food.

Took her in on the Monday, and the Vet's instant response was put her to sleep. Wife was devestated, I had a few tears as well frankly, she was a really pleasant friendly cat. Sounds corny, but she was more a friend than a cat. The way it goes I guess, still, at pushing 22, she did ok.

There is also a "funny cat pics" thread in The Cafe, been running for about 18 months or so which you might like given your background. Its a bit long and heavyweight for a thread now, probably needs "Funny Cat Pics 2" starting up as it takes a while to load up the thread.

Christ, these boards are dead..........

Not like the Seti boards I am used to.

Got so tired of waiting for another post that I watched Tombstone in it's entirety on youtube.

Wonderful flick.......I had seen bits and pieces of it over the years, but never put then all together.

When Doc shoots Ringo......that clip is nothing until you see everything that led up to it.

First of two confrontations......and the second.

The boards are dead from the lack of response to problems and questions over the last year.
Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected the expected?
If it makes sense, DON'T do it.

Sometimes it's nice to have low traffic on the boards but other times.........
I hang around the HardForums, lot of chatter there.

But this is the fastest bona fide lawnmower in the world.

Billet crank Briggs and Stratton.

Weak point in any lawnmower for sure.

Veeeeeeeeeroom.

I'm doing some Cosmology@Home (Who's boards are even quieter than here)

until I find out MilkyWay has fixed Completed CPU Work Granted Credits or Credit is Pending until another CPU can Validate.

(I might be a MW Minority Group using only the CPU but I can't be the only one)

that or SETI@Home Returns

-- To Summarise --

I would like to know what's happened at MW over the last month or perhaps what about to happen over the next few weeks.

I'd started returning Completed MW WUs at the start of November everything looking fine.

Then About 10/11 November I suddenly got fewer credits for returning completed work (have been returning 4-6 WUs a Day [within deadline])

Camerons Daily Milkyway Granted Credit for November 2010

I want to know Why I've had nearly two weeks of historically consistant CPU WU Returned Milky Way Credit Granted (which I'm happy with) and then overnight suddenly the granted credit drop (I've been returning completed CPU Workunits)

The reason best I can tell is that the tasks that are generated after I return my WU that has been crunched by my CPU are taken by GPUs and they form the quorum.
